Yes, the photo is indeed reversed. I grew up in the area of the photo and have viewed the area from the San Jacinto Monument, airplanes, and aerial photos for years.
Here is a picture of the "Old Cape Henry Lighthouse." I believe this is a newer lighthouse that is just a short ride away from the the one in the picture. These pictures were taken 30 years ago, so we can wait for someone else to add a comment here!

A beautiful shot but, this picture is facing southwest and that is the sun settingin the west!
