Hi Mr. Alkonaini, thank you for correction of my photo and name of the castle. I accepted your recommendation. Concerning the age of the building, most probably you are right. It might functioned as a station on so called "Bornu caravan route" from Tchad along Tajerhí, Qatrún, Sabhá, Brak, Mizdah to Tarablus al Gharb from medieval time to the 18-19th century. Thanks.
I think you mean "foggarah" which is a well known water transport system in the old desert history but this is not the case here where hundreds of those thombs are spreaded in a relatively small area and also they are well known to the local people
