This view is from a notch in the ridge northwest of Cirque Peak. From left to right are Cottonwood Lakes #2 and #1, the South Fork Lakes, and (partially hidden) Cirque Lake. The barely visible water in the upper right is the unnamed lake in the South Fork Drainage.
The USGS Topo is incorrect and Nash 53 is correct. Lake 4 is in the foreground and Lake 5 is in the background. I fished Lake 4 many times in the last 40 years, especially before it became catch and release. It is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. Lake 6 is a small lake up about 500 feet elevation from Lake 5 at 11598 feet. You can see it on Google map with a couple of pictures.
