thanks for the photo, it brings back memories fromn 35 years ago. We stayed at a cabin, rented to us by John Tooley. That's his barn (?) in the background, and his house set to the right of it. The cabin had a wood cook stove, and an ice box. John cut ice in the winter and stored it in sawdust in a shed near the cabin. Took my son when he was 5 years old, he's now 40. What a great trip down memory lane.
You can walk there. Exit Hwy 509 onto Ragged Chutes Road. About 1.2Km at a farm the road jogs a bit to the left. It ends after another 1.5Km. Bear right at the end to a gate. The left branch goes to another farm house. From the gate, the walking path is on private property but many people walk in Thanksgiving weekend. The path is not marked but you can hear the falls most of the time except maybe when down in a valley. The path can be flooded after a rain so take appropriate foot wear. - Walter.
