This picture was probably taken further west of the ranch because this is the top of buttercup where the border patrol now has a tower. If is was taken on the ranch it would have the wind sock and probably more of the ocotillo's.
Slight mis-spelling on the beach name. It is actually Bastendorf with a 't' instead of the two esses. Similar sound. Easier to find on the net when you use the 'tee' in Bastendorf Beach.
