Hi Ruben, I never met Armi´s and Gil´s children during my short visit to their home. She had hurt her leg after having falling off a horse just before our visit but she did a very good job acting as our hostess and serving us some karelian pastries. Her Finnish sounded to me very much like literary language after all those years living away from Finland.

I´ve never been to Muhos myself but the easiest way getting there is surely by flying from Helsinki to Oulu (there are several flights there everyday). It´s only 30-40 km:s to Muhos from the Oulu airport. If you have time to stay also in Helsinki I´m happy to show you the city. Summer is the best time for a visit!

Beautiful picture. Muhos is indeed a beautiful place to visit.....away from the madding crowd. How does one get there from Helsinski? Has Armi Kuusela Hilario Williams been back to her birth place lately? Sad the Philippines lost her adopted daughter to La Jolla, California.
