Prost, Andreas! - Heuer sind die Alpenblumen etwas zu kurz gekommen bei mir, im Urlaub war es nocht nicht so weit und dann bin ich nicht mehr in die Berge gekommen. Zum Glück gibt es bei uns "im Flachland" auch viel Schönes und Interessantes zu finden. So war ich relativ viel als N@turfreund mit der Kamera in unseren Naturschutzgebieten östlich von Wien unterwegs.

Greetings Billy and Pom, Even though this is a very popular photo point in the valley we were able to have it to ourselves when we took this picture. Everyone who came for the sunrise and mirror finish on the water had left by the time we arrived. To be sure the light was still great, but the water surface was being disturbed by lite breezes and the comings and goings of the ducks. But we waited patiently until the surface stilled enough to get a flavor for what could be. Next year I will be one of the very early risers to get the money shot at this location. This year we were so happy with what we had gotten the previous day that sunrise didn't matter for this day. Even with a hundred photographers on the shoreline, it is a nice mood because we are all there for the same thing and share that dream of a really nice shot. Until next year......
