Padomju un Latvijas laiks šīs ēkas ir padarījis vairumā gadījumu par NEKO. Ja pirmās Latvijas laikā ēkās izvietoja vismaz skolas (parasti gan izdemolējot visu iekšpusi, tad 2. Latvijas laikā skolas tiek likvidētas)
Tur bija Saulaines skolas kopmītnes, veikals un bērnudārzs, tagad škiet kreisajā spārnā ir palicis bērnudārzs. Vidējā daļa jumta bojājumu dēļ ir iekšpusē praktiski sagruvusi pēdējo 10 gadu laikā.
Nomnieks izrādījās muļļa, un rezultātā ēka ir sliktākā stāvoklī kā pirms "restaurācijas uzsķšanas".

Līdzigs liktenis piemeklējis netālus esošo Bornsmindi (Ziedoņi) utt.
Turpretī pretējā Lielupes krastā privāts investors Jumpravas muižas paliekas pārvērtis skaistā sakārtotā "mazā pilī".
Bet var jau būt- tajā apkārtnē muižu un piļu ir pārāk daudz un tās ir par lielu "Latvijas pseidobiznesam"
