Ivan Morgan's conversations

I haven't got a clue whether parking charges in Lewes are high, low or somewhere in between. However, it seems to me more likely that the reasons there are relatively few people around are:

a) Alwyn took the photo early-ish on a Friday morning - looking west with the sun low in the south east b) The type of shops nearby. Have a look on Google, and you will see that the shops on the left (south side) are Natwest, Halifax, Oakley estate agent, Laceys Dry Cleaning, Jumper Shop, a Dental Surgery and Octave Recorded Music. On the right are Yorkshire Building Society and Cancer Research. These are hardly the sort of establishments that are jam-packed with shoppers early on a Friday morning in October c) There are very few vehicles driving along the High Street. Now, parking charges may deter parking, but they do not deter drivers from driving. The fact that there is just one distant, and one very far distant vehicle driving along the High Street suggests (to me) that the quietness of the scene is due mainly to the time of day.

Sorry, Ivan - I suspect the reasons behind the peace and quiet of Alwyn's photo are probably entirely innocent, and have very little to do with allegedly venal Town Councillors.

Yeah, Ivan is a twat par excellence! Obviously not a Wickite. Probably prefers posed pictures of kittens in a basket to pictures of real life. I took these pics just to get the kind of response I'm getting from you. Respect!
