You are not right, this photo is really from this area, from flat tableland in the mountains. And trees are at the horizont... Anyway I refine the position, now the place is precise within few meters:-)

This picture was made probably by my friend Honza Huryn - it is taken from some train station in Sydney, but I have no idea which one. if you recognize it, let me know.

I think this is from 2002 or 2003 summer, when there were widespread fires in the Blue Mountains. The neighboring pictures can be joined into a panoramic one.
