This is St Ernan's Parish Church, Creich (Fionnphort)

Would make a nice garden ornament in my back yard..:)

Great museum to visit!

Hi Doug, I uploaded so many photos, this one got away. Because these all had GPS co-ords in the metadata, they positioned themselves. If the GPS wasn't fully set, it would just input 0 deg Lat and 0 deg Long which actually puts is just south of Senegal in Africa, not Thunder Bay. Thanks for the heads up, I'll move it straight away. My PC got hacked badly last week and I lost tons of photos, in many cases, the only ones I have left are the ones I uploaded to Panoramio. I'm putting everything I've got up there now. I did a number on the Isle of Man, I'll be putting a heap more up shortly with lots from the narrow gauge rail and the electric tram. Glad you like the photos.

show railway station

it sure is a beautiful area

It was taken from the lookout at the top. It's about as telephoto as it is possible to get with a little Nikon digital camera. Because it was such a bright day, the photo turned out really well. It was a beautiful view from the top though.

I have just taken some photos (yesterday 1-12-13)from Clarkes Road, under this bridge. I lived at Burringbar 1990-1996 and Crabbes Creek 1996-2005 and now I'm at Kyogle. I've used the Murwillumbah XPT and the old service before that, but I’m now obsessed about getting services back to this area: not just what we had before, but rail all the way to the Gold Coast/Coolangatta Airport for the 2018 Commonwealth games, when both the Gold Coast Light Rail and the Gold Coast Railway line should meet in front of the Airport. There's too much traffic; cars, busses and trucks on the Pacific Highway. Byron Bay alone has enough traffic through it to warrant linking them to both Queensland and Sydney. Our closest large cities are the Gold Coast and Brisbane. I'm writing first to the NSW minister for transport to get daytime railcar services between Casino and Brisbane. Locals need to have a good rail service between the towns too. I'm proposing the Brisbane-Sydney line have a junction at Fairy Hill and a straighter line into Lismore, so we can have services eventually going from Brisbane to Lismore taking about 2 hours 40 minutes, and have 'scouted' by road and Google Earth the new section with a tunnel under the Kyogle to Lismore Road, avoiding the level crossing which last year was tarred over/removed. My dream is to walk 100 metres from home to a railway platform and go by rail to Mullumbimby, then a minibus to Brunswick Heads in less than 2 hours and be able to return home again the same day! I want a choice of economy or 'business’ class (to plug in my laptop etc.) in 2-car railcar services with onboard electronic ticketing. We should be designing our vehicles to include solar-panelled rooves and simple platforms with solar-panelled rooves as well. Fares would also have to be realistically priced; in line with interstate and suburban pricing. Full-fare economy should not cost more than half the coast of fuel in a small car, otherwise most motorists would find sharing vehicle fuel costs still more appealing. A few more innovative ideas are needed to get both people and freight off both our enlargening highways and narrow winding 'main' roads existing in the Northern Rivers region.

This is so beautiful, i like!!
