very good picture, I had already seen that picture on another site, I liked a lot.

I need one without!!!!!

Taken at Punnathur Kotta (elephant sanctuary) near Guruvayur in Kerala. Punnathur Kotta is home to around 60 elephants, some retired and some who just live there between temple duties. On the whole they seemed happy enough, but a bit bored.

Sree Krishna Temple in Guruvayur. A very busy temple, it must have been an auspicious day for marriage as people were queueing up to get married.

Young student looking out from the mosque at Kasegarod, Kerala

Taken at the Uru boatyard in Beypore, Kerala, where the largest dhow in the world was built.

Intricate carving of a convoluted snake. Try to follow it's length from head to tail, I bet you can't do it first time ;-)

This is at the Jain Temple that Tipu Sultan used to store his ammunition in during his rule in the area (hence the local towns name of Sultans Battery)

Prehistoric rock art. The climb to the caves is not for the unfit!

I was suprised by the size of the fort, it takes a long time to walk all the way around the ramparts.
