I USED TO LIVE IN THIS ORPHANAGE [HÔI DỤC ANH] DURING MY CHILDHOOD [UP TO 1975].
THE WALL AT THE CORNER [SEEN IN THE PICTER] IS THE BACK OF THE APARTMENT WHERE I LIVE WITH MY MOTHER AND SIBLINGS. MY MOTHER IS MS. TAN also MS.THANH used to work for HOI DUC ANH orphanage as a nurse since 1958 to 1976.
The picture remind me of my childhood with the imgeas of adorable American soldiers, glorious Saigon and other unforgetable memories....Thanks for posting this picture...
On the left of the picture is THÀNH Ô MA [Oma citadel] Isaw many INDIANS in this citadel when i was a child [1960s]
Opposite the orphanage is THÁI BÌNH market

Dinh Norodom?-E rằng nhầm, hình kế tiếp là dinh Norodom thì đúng. Đây là tòa nhà Shell trên đường Norodom , sau là đại lộ Thống Nhứt.

Mùa Giáng Sinh, Noel 1964 thì đúng hơn Xuân 1964! (Vì bày bán lồng đèn và hang đá chứ không phải hoa tết)
That is a C-123-B model; the K models, had a J-85 engine, mounted outboard, of the recip engine, one on each wing.
B-57's were on the OTHER ramp, with the F-100's!!!
