I have had a few leader falls Randy and have the scars (and scares) to prove it.
That wasn't a climb Kenny it was just a scramble.
We stopped climbing on ropes by mid week so the rope would last longer.
I still use the same one today!

I 'member them days well. And used to go alpine ski touring in them days.
As you say them were days
Its the best thing in the world Brian being up on John Rock in the sun with the world at your feet, watching Americans struggling with navigating the roundabout below, most of them failing miserably!
Then when the warmth of the sun starts to make you think about shutting your eyes, the turkey vultures or buzzards start to soar upwards on the thermals caused by the rock and the heat.
What a great place to waste a warm afternoon with a telephoto lens.
