Kenny Wharton
on Google Maps
I'm just a happy snapper capturing what I see. My main subjects are the countryside, birds, in fact anything nature. I also have an interest in architecture and machinery. Old vehicles and tractors also feature heavily in my galleries (mainly on Flickr). I almost give up on Panoramio when Google threatened to change it to Views and I started to switch to Flickr however I use Google Earth a lot to research places to visit so still want to contribute. I am now limiting Pano-uploads to scenic shots and all others to Flickr. Browse both my Pano and Flickr galleries and comment as you please, constructive, critical or otherwise, it's all good. For those not wanting to comment in public, I have PM enabled. Happy snapping and enjoy life!

Very cute shot, Kenny. I really like it! My suggestion ... "So THAT'S a tree?"

Yep thats as good as it gets (even with extra blue with photoshop!)

Best regards from the webbed footed one!

There has been some comment about the use of wood in our structures here abouts Kenny but I always find it interesting that we can buy (from our B&Q equivalent) old rail ties (sleepers) for just this purpose. They are clearly donkeys years old and have been ripped up from somewhere.

A tad big for dropping in the back of the mini though.........

I agree Kenny, those damned bins have invaded every corner, yard, front garden and pavement of our land, the local authorities having scant regard for the negative impact that these eyesores have on the eye. Robin Hoods bay, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, Staithes and Whitby have all been blighted with this infestation. Still, they contrast nicely with those pretty yellow lines, not!

Lucky you and well done for not mapping it!

Welcome to my gallery and many thanks for the comment

Lovely shot. - Friendly greetings from Athens.

Three great shots Kenny, proud mum/dad looking on and two cracking shots of the chicks.

This one could be saying "got to hurry i need the loo!!" and the other one........

Thanks, the originals are even better but the upload to here seems to have softened them a little. The main lens I use is a Sigma 150-500 and sometimes a Sigma 18-250. But as you well know its all down to the light conditions, especially with Sigma's.

It looks like a good time was had by all Kenny, nice to see the boys in blue involved with a bit of improvisation.
