So, according to those that know about these things Nick the Chickadee will build several nests and then choose one to occupy and breed in.

I don't think this was the one although I did hear some home improvements going on inside it... I think they put in a new kitchenette.

Yes Neil I had the same thoughts when I came across these old photos (not slides)

David I was lucky enough to know roughly where they were taken and as usual were not far from a road. I then used Google Earth, street view to check the view and match it to the photos.

I still have a box of photos in the 'wheres that/who's that' category. They serve as a reminder to use GPS and tags!!!
