Peterprivatebox This soil is too good to waste on growing sheep food Peter although sometimes they undersow the main crop of barley with grass and let the sheep loose for a few weeks in the Autumn. All the best ~ nick

Blimey, thats going back a bit Kenny, probably the forerunner of the monsters we see today. Those Fordsons were some workhorse, i drove the original Major in the early 60's when i was a forestry worker (nobbut a lad). It had huge balloon tyres on the back and a big two speed winch, a steel grill on the front loaded with heavy chains helped to counter balance it,boy could it pull. Best job i ever had but the wages were rubbish.
