I'm just a happy snapper capturing what I see. My main subjects are the countryside, birds, in fact anything nature. I also have an interest in architecture and machinery. Old vehicles and tractors also feature heavily in my galleries (mainly on Flickr). I almost give up on Panoramio when Google threatened to change it to Views and I started to switch to Flickr however I use Google Earth a lot to research places to visit so still want to contribute. I am now limiting Pano-uploads to scenic shots and all others to Flickr. Browse both my Pano and Flickr galleries and comment as you please, constructive, critical or otherwise, it's all good. For those not wanting to comment in public, I have PM enabled. Happy snapping and enjoy life!

I love the detail and contrast of the vignetting.

Great shot, love the contrast of yellow and green across the horizon.

Unique machine!

Greetings from Varna, Joni!

Excellent shot. I love the contrast between the blurred background and the the detail of the lichens. Bird composition spot on. I imagine this shot was the end result of a few hours of sitting and waiting, all credit to your birding skills!

KennyW - Thanks very much Kenny. Thought I'd make an effort again now that I've formally heard that Panoramio is going to survive!

Itallica II - Hi Tery. Thanks for all your comments on my first newly posted photos for over a year! Do you think Panoramio is really safe now?!

Best wishes to you both - Jim

Thank you Gordon think of all the money that y'all made selling these things to Americans though!

So I hear Kevin but the menu looked a bit pricey for us, we were on a budget you know! I must check out the others sometime.

Perfectly! LF. Greetings from Russia, Igor

I am mortified to hear that Jeff and I appreciate the confidence you demonstrate in telling us this as well as the promise of fair weather.

Stay strong ol' buddy
