The Glenachulish is currently providing a ferry service at Strome due to the closure of the A890. Without the ferry residents of Lochcarron have a 140 mile detour to get to Kyle
Many thanks for your advice and taking an interest in this photo, Marcel. I see the photo was taken with my 'bridge' camera Canon G10. I like the camera very much but I've heard it does have something of a reputation for noise. I've noticed noise is much less of a problem with my other camera, the Nikon D7000.
