You were mistaken my friend. This is not Sabyinyo Volcanoe. This is Muhabura. Sabyinyo is the one with "teeth"! In Kinyarwanda language, Sabyinyo means "the one with big teeth". Sabyinyo is west of this volcanoe you pictured. Between them, there is a smaller one named Gahinga.

More than 50000 tutsi victims of the genocide are buried at this place. This was a secondary school under construction in 1994, where tutsi were grouped before being killed by Interahamwe militia on 20 April 1994.
