Beautiful place Id love it

such a calm night look of the city

Hi, I just joined this group. Not sure how I send an email?? please tell me what you know about CocoaBeach. I am looking to move to Florida, and I came across your pics. They are beautiful. thanks!

Wow it was amazing to see this pic. I grew up in Palos Heights, about 2 miles from here, and used to go down this toboggan run all this time. My dad grew up on the same block, and he used to come out here as a kid too. He always used to tell me the story of how one of his friends tried to ride his bicycle down the chute in the summertime in the 1950's, and ended up in the hospital. For years, I wondered if it was a completely true story, then a few years back my dad was looking through old boxes and found the newspaper clipping ("Local boy injured riding bike down toboggan run"). My uncle who still lives up there told me they just closed it within the last few years.

OK, problem fixed. Sorry - did not know the name at the time.

This is the Rama Temple. It is part of the temple complex of the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago.

This stretch of road always floods after heavy rain.

Land after your flight and then be greated by those miserable lethargic cabbages they call 'homeland security' or customs cretins as they should be known. What a bunch of pathetic wimps. Grow up yank, appreciate and recognise those that pay your wages. We are on the same side as you – don't you know? Doh!

Ugh I hate that building. Erected about 5 to 7 years ago. Not hardly an icon of the town.

Too bad you missed the quarry.

The village changed its name from "Romeo" to "Romeoville" in 1845. Please update the caption. Cheers.
