Thank you for your comments, CathrynnC. And thanks for the opportunity you give me to enjoy your photos. Oxford is truly a wonderful place to take some beatiful pictures. Some day, I'll be back to visit Oxford. About my request, take your time. I just saw that I can kill my curiosity using 'look around'. :p

hello :) ... this is a wonderful pic....I cant get the Look Around this to work at the moment, but I will do. Yes, I do live in Oxford, just ten minutes from the centre and certainly will go and take a photo from the top of Carfax Tower..lol your photos are beautiful - I love photography, only started about six months ago and am completely addicted! This may not be done for a few weeks but be assured, I will do it. I doubt much has changed, looking at this pic....! though in fact there is a lot of reconstruction going on in Oxford as a whole....be back in touch I promise..:) Cathrynn..:)

Rita The last time I walked through this gate (29/06/86)I continued on to the South coast at South Hampton then followed the coast all along the South west way around the coast of Wales and then turned back toward Dorking when we got to Porthmadoc.

Do you live in Oxford, CathrynnC? Could you do me a favor? Take a picture from the top of Carfax Tower? No rush, just to be the same angle that I took this picture (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/2704456) in 1986. I want to see what has changed, it may be? You are a great photographer. Nice photo!

This looks like the Oxfordshire countryside, doesnt it! I love all your photos as well...I have a nephew in Brazil, in Rio - he lived about 100 miles from Brazilia at one point, right out in the country, beautiful, he has made Brazil his home. Glad you enjoyed Oxford..:)

Bess is a beauty, but I must say that I found your library more interesting. Eclectic tastes ranging from Margaret Atwood to Sufism to Cezanne, a detour into the Bible for a year, time out for the Darwin Awards, a little gardening, a little wine, some more wine, some Asperger's syndrome, an oratorio, and Germaine Greer to come full circle.
A photo series of people's bookcases could be interesting...
