Its the Gym Hall building. I'm not sure how old this photo is, but I left Gifford in 2005 and the roof wasn't white, so its safe to say its taken somewhere around or after 2007, I understand the section with the white roof collapsed during a storm some time in 2007, so this would have been taken after repairs were done.
but you've misplace it, sir... Were you really on the water less than 200m metres away from the power-generation facilities, with deadwood allowed to stand so close to the intakes?
Those two must have guts to sit there at the edge looking deep down, whilst the roar of the falls must be deafening.
Been there in the late 60's and know to be a beautiful place.
