Thanks Mark and Charlene for the information and memories! This photo was taken during my first and only visit to Florence, OR while on vacation with my family in Oregon last summer. We stopped at Florence for lunch after a beautiful morning hiking at Cape Perpetua. Lunch outside on the deck overlooking the harbor - and the Otter - was wonderful and we hope to get back to Florence some day.
Oregon is beautiful. I was lucky to have two visits there this summer - one for business and one for vacation. I have more photos still to post of the Columbia River gorge (lots of waterfalls) and the coast. But I was really fascinated by the lava fields in the mountains and the center of the state, as in this picture and the one of the Sisters.
