I was there in Nov 1976, water level was low, but it was still spectacular to stand on the edge of the gorge like in a Tarzan movie, Niagara is nothing remotely like this (too commercialized). Loved it, wish I could go again.
Kaiteurs falls in guyana, south america is the most amazing place. it is totally surrounded by the rain forest and you can only get there on a small plane. it is a sight never to be forgotten
