After so many years living in Canada I am looking forward to come home and spend Christmas in Guyana..looking at this cathedral I remember the very first time I stand in the building and thought ..marvelous piece of art Yvonne De clou a/k Nonnie
I was privileged to witnessed the turning of the soil when shanklands I believe in the 80s. I will love to visit now it has become famous around the world..I am from the pomeroon jacklow ..residing in Canada my name is Yvonne De Clou a/k Honnie,,,looking at this magnificent building I will love to visit. I will coming to Guyana first week in Guyana after 7 years...Thanks
I was there in Nov 1976, water level was low, but it was still spectacular to stand on the edge of the gorge like in a Tarzan movie, Niagara is nothing remotely like this (too commercialized). Loved it, wish I could go again.
Kaiteurs falls in guyana, south america is the most amazing place. it is totally surrounded by the rain forest and you can only get there on a small plane. it is a sight never to be forgotten
