As we were floating down the Amazon in our Hammok boat, people living along the river would paddle up to the side and the passengers would throw them bags of food and old clothes. There aren't many supermarkets out here.

Most contain spiritual leaders. They contain many people each, but it was sometimes generations between burials.
This guy has been selling Coconut cakes out of that basket on his back since he was a young boy growing up in Mancora. Most people that have been there will have heard him walking up and down the beach with his basket, singing and selling cakes to the people.
No, I didn't climb up. My friends and I took a bus to Pisac, then hired a cab to drive us up the back way, then we walked down to the town. Much easiser that way.
