Hello Andrew.Thankyou for your vote and comments.I have been to to Belarus many times over the last few years and never had a problem. Before leaving for this trip my safety was guaranteed at all times.And it was.One can get robbed in any country Andrew.I found the Belarusian people to be extreemly honest,kind and would rather go without, just to make the visitor more comfortable.On this last accasion I made many new friends and long lasting relationships. And the answer to your question about being nosey, Yes you are! And as for Mafia they can be anywhere!!!!!
