The photo was taken from my yacht sailing in a weekend race in Castletown bay when I was there in '03. The marker shows where the camera was, not where the college is.
There was a lot of discussion of this on the Panoramio forums in the early days and it seems the consensus is the marker should show the camera position. I don't always agree and actually had it on the college initially in this case, but was asked to move it.
