Nice view of the city here. I don't think I've actually seen it from atop the Rockefeller Center before. I like how you can see the GW(?) Bridge up ahead. Nice shot! Greetings from Virginia. -Malcolm

Why did Panoramio choose to use this series of photos of an abandoned house to represent Marcy, NY on Google Earth? Marcy is a small town doing its best in tough economic times. It does not help to depict it as an abandoned building on Google Earth.

Oh thats ok. I used to walk down the road the camera is looking down, to get to school. Any idea what they are going to do with those houses? It looks like they are being rehabbed. I dont live around there anymore but had read they were being torn down and the land used for some type of senior development.

I bought this house in 2007 and I am in the process of restoring it. It is going to be a Bed and Breakfast (Casa D'Amore). It should be opening in 2009/2010. It was actually owned by two Mayors, one (Mayor Knock) in the mid to late 1800's and one (mayor Reid) in the early 1900's. Both Mayors were also doctors, I have been in touch with Mayor Reid's family some of who still live in Rome.
