Correction, the address was 3504.

My favorite experience in the Adirondacks. I vacationed with my children in a camp a few doors down from here in the 1980's & 90's. I still miss the sound of the seaplanes as they taxied by to return to Payne's.

Greetings from Germany, Felix

It's a shame that all these houses on closed & abandoned US Military Bases can't be taken to Indian Reservation where our Native Americans need housing terribly bad.

Been trying to find Brian and Chrissy from the end unit for 20 years

Kris please email my brother Karl denhart Ocalasnorkel@aol.com about pictures of the radar site thanks bill

They did some infra-red testing here in the late 60s.

Thank you so much for posting these photos of of the housing area on Griffiss AFB - actually lived there in the late 60's.

Kind of a shame - as I remember the place was always so well kept - both by the base personnel and of course those of us that lived there.

Also remember the LONG walks to the bowling alley!

Any way again - thank you!

this is the most serene ive ever seen it. trees and brush look cleared and nicely kept and the waters not flowing out in deadly rapids lol. nice shot.
