Hi, wah i really glad that you ever visit my hometown! You guys can go to Jakarta first then buy airplane ticket to Makassar or Palu. From Makassar you can take a ship for 1 or 2 night (can't remember) to Banggai. Or from Palu you can take a small boat to Banggai. For accommodation i also not really sure about it but i'm sure that it's cheap and easy to find, ask local people if you've any question and i'm pretty sure that they're all very welcome with tourist :) Enjoy!
