It was like a paradise there. I was there in 1975 and I was about 10 years olds. My family and others were rescued by the US Navy ship in the middle of the South hina sea, while escape from Vietnamese communinists. We were in Philippines for for one week then they flew us to Wake Island. We stayed there 4 months there. It was so beautiful there. The weather alway perfect and the water was blue like a sky. Thank you to the Navy ship that rescued us.
