I think I'm pretty close. I just stumbled across it while hiking in the area of Elephant rock. I just ventured up this small cyn. and saw it. These photos were taken in 2011. I would think that it is still there. I haven't been there since. I live in this area. Good luck.

I've hiked to all 3 arrows, and it looks to me, being an ex USAF pilot, that they were used in a northerly direction to direct low flying aircraft to the low point west of the black ridge. The northerly most arrow is tilted to the south for better spotting and has a slight westerly bend to it. Also i've hiked to a point in the gorge which has an old slbe for a light beacon. I found a peace of a fresnel lense which may indicate it was a generator powered light. It is located in reverse dirction of arrow located in bloomington
