"延命; emmei" means "to maintain one's life," and "地蔵尊; jizouson" is the name of a god in buddhism, one of the spreaded religion in the world especially in east and south Asia originated in ancient India, who will be believed to save a wretched creature during its life in its period. In ancient Indian language "Sanskrit," it is written and pronounced क्षितिघर्भ [kSiti gharbha].
And this is the small shrine for the god named Emmei-Jizouson.
