Damian Ward's conversations

Can't do this Friday until next Tuesday (in Burgundy).

See my photos under Mike Zawadzki (not 2).

The modern house opposite (The Vines) was our home for about ten years. Designed by me and extended by me later. It now has further additions and alterations by the current owners late husband.

Lady Norrington (wife of he after whom the Norrington Room in the Blackwells Book shop in Broad Street, Oxford was named used to live there).

Damian, where do you live? We have recently moved back to Haddenham after years in Aylesbury. We are now at 52 Sheerstock.

Bloody monstrocity. If it was legal, I'd blow this up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where exactly is this?

Nicely balanced photo.

Thanks david. The water pump is still there, I think it is slightly set back so you can't see it.

Hi Gary, Around that time I would say the main occupation of Kingston Blount would be agriculture. There was a number of village shops and local trades men. but all the shops have now closed.

My Father does own a book about the history of the area and the authors still live in the village. I could ask him to ask them if they could help you, if you wanted. The book does mention a Lady called Jane Tuner, who was a laundress. I only mention this as your name is Turner.

I this is some help, let me know if you need anything else.
