So nice to hear from you. Don't worry about the long time, sometimes I do not use Panoramio for months, so I am not always up to date.
I have a new laptop, one reason is that I had several Chinese programs on my old laptop, including QQ, and since then my old laptop crashed often and became very slow. So I hope to be able to without some of these programs on my new laptop. I use SKYPE, it is like QQ and it allows for video calls even to China. Maybe you can use that as well. It would be nice to ntalk to you.
I have not been to SZ in 4 years and I know construction goes very fast in SZ, hopefully it is not as bad as you describe it. At least the many new Metro lines should be a big help in getting around. And I hope I get to see Dapeng again before it gets too built up - here are a couple of pictures I took there.
Do you still live in Shekou at the TaoHuaYuan gardens ?
One thing I really loved about Shkou was the NanShan at our back door. I used to go up the mountain once or twice a week. Here is this big city with all the noise and you go up that mountain and the noise becomes less and there is a bit of nature around you. Of course there were days when thousands of people would also go up the mountain, like on New Year Day, but mostly not too many. And it was very good exercise for me.
Let me know what you are doing and tell me of your favorite places to take pictures.
