The foundations you talk about are the location of the small village we called Coffee House Crossing this was a train and stage coach stop.The stage/freight road here runs from Webster out towards the Quadic area of East Thompson and continued on to Cadys Tavern on Rt 44 in R.I. which was the next stage stop on this route.I lived right at the wreck site from 1959 to the early 90s.The house I lived in was damaged by a box car hitting it and a second house on the property was destroyed in the accident.I haven't walked these trails since I was a teen but knew them well back then.
