This photo is several years old. Taken in 2003 this cover no longer exists, however, the bridge platform itself is still intact. This was a wonderful piece of history and I am glad I captured it on digital film when I did. I believe that the covered structure was damaged during a storm or hurricane which moved through the area. If anyone can confirm what exactly happened to the cover please let me know by leaving a comment.
