If you're in this area, you've got to take the loop road. It's gravel and takes longer than the interstate of course, but it is not to be missed. We got out of the car a few times and took a lot of pictures.
I couldn't resist the contrast of the ancient and modern. The Romans built the Pantheon, and Romans are still around--driving Taxis and riding motorcycles.
