its salt water spring, situated somewhere between hailakandi and karimganj district of assam, gas bubbles and oil also comes out . its said during the british raj when taxes was levied on salt , people who cannot afford to buy , they took this water to cook food.

This flyover walkway at venglai intersection was built way back in the 90's and again rebuilt from the scratch in 2007.
