...which makes a mockery of the 'access road'...
this is not the customs house it is the Watchtower. The customs house is the detached house on tower street.
It's not a building, it's the old prison ship that was recently sold and towed off into the wild blue yonder.
Thanks for the correction. I think owls may still be using it because there's one hunts nearby on a very regular basis.
It's only up a few times a year but I generally stand and watch whatever ship or sub it passing underneath.
....a fine building, lots of effort by architects and builders put into it...should be listed.
...this is a beautiful shot, how often do we see Walney channel like a sheet of glass and a dredger trying its best to disturb it. Thanks WalneyDog.
