Looks like you lucked out with no smog, when I was there a lot of dust from the Gobi desert was blowing through, plus lots of pollution.
I was avoiding the modern shots but i wanted to show the frame work and this was the only location it was exposed

Could not use flash in this location so i tried to get as much light by moving close
Also straight on. And use scale. Great wallpaper.
