Not sure how I got here....But when I saw this photo.....it reminded me of my 91 year old dad. In the 60's...he worked for Santa Fe...for the life of me...can't remember his job title...just know he traveled from NM to AZ to CA and back again. I love to hear his stories of the railroad....and this photo captures it all.....thank you!

Omy gosh.....

I visited my mothers Great aunt in these EXACT same apartments (?) 20 years ago. What a surprise to see them again. I thought they ere destroyed by now

I like it very much.

Gorgeous Sunset!!!!!!

Hello LECarlson..... Sorry to say but that whole mall has fallen on hard times as has the whole town. Most of the stores & shops in there are empty. When the big open pit mine closed people just up & moved away. That mall area is still the prettiest part of Ajo though & it's kinda sad to see the whole town struggling to make ends meet. You can find more pics of Ajo on our website....http://thebayfieldbunch.com/ or check our web albums at http://picasaweb.google.com/stargeezerguy/ Look around January of 07 & Feb of 08. Take care.....AL & The Bayfield Bunch:))

Another gorgeous capture of the City of Rocks. Amazing skies!

Beautiful shot, Al! Great colors and lighting. I've never had the chance to go to City of Rocks, but your pictures make it something I desire more and more.

Thankyou Hector, I will make the change.

Thank you Al for the compliment. Your tags far outshine the few I posted. I'm warming up. I placed my wife there for scale. I helped fly that very same type of A/C in the Navy; R6D. This picture was taken in 1997.
