Kewl! Yes, the ladder was in sad shape. Someone since you - made a wooden ladder and tied into place, however, it was not in much better shape! I never did climb up on the roof but during a few night in dream land, pictured myself tied to a palm on the roof with huge waves approaching the 5' elevated Atoll. Guess that comes with living there for four months! Great place! Thank you for sharing!
