I was born and bred in North Wales and spend as much time as possible walking in the Welsh Hills and photographing my experiences. I am particularly drawn to the more isolated areas where you are able to feel the 'hiraeth' of the countryside that is North Wales and enjoy its solitude and beauty.

Just behind the camera and down the hill a bit is a monument to I.D.Hooson. Welsh Peot. The slope off to the right is from where I launch when I paraglide this hill in a southerly breeze. In good conditions I can be 1000ft above the ground which from here would be just over 2000ft above sea level. It's a magical place. Thanks for the pic John.
