Thanks. I was hiking south over the Whaleback on the trail with that name and never noticed a change of trail or name.

Also, this is well downstream of the dam site about where the Kawabe River enters Hitoyoshi City.

This photo, although still below the dam site, is closer to where the dam was to be built.

Thanks, I think it was just adjusting "levels" in photoshop for the sky, separately from the rest of the photo. I didn't use any gradients or other color additives.
