Hi there. Just wanted to say, great to see your pics of this beach. I stayed there for 3 months Nov 75/Jan 76. Took us a week to find a house in the village to rent. No shops. no guest houses, no restaurants. Only the village tailor spoke English. Had to take the "Fatima B" minibus to Payyanour for shopping whenever it was operating, usually every 3rd day. Saw thousands (no exaggeration) of dolphins moving down the coast over Dec/Jan.
Ah memories.... The ferryman across the river to the SE of the village by the lighthouse, great beach there too.....used to have a canoe on the lagoon at the back of this beach. Only pics we have is from a tiny B/W Indian camera :)
Thanks

Strange and beautiful natural view.
News that
Not too long ago, just earthquakes.
I think that is good to be comfortable calm rest.

I took this photo because it reminded me of a frame from a Tintin book.
