I am a photographer with a special interest in rural exploration. What do I mean by that? Let's rather explain what I do. As a small group we go out, pick on a town and see what is there and take pictures of what we find. We would usually seek out the biggest church, the town hall, the grave yard, the railway station (if there is one), some other historical places and than of course we also talk to the locals where we very often get more and good information. And why am I doing this? Just to make retirement more interesting.

Sorry Desiree, your message has been hanging around here for a while, I only now noticed it. Yes, of course, you can use with acknowledgement. Regards Horst
Looks very upscale. Valet parking, Saks Fifth Avenue, etc.
The fashion in NRSA is to rename everything, so why not you?
I was a bit concerned about your safety, seeing the same shadowy figure in some of your photographs. After all, this is Africa.
I thought you copied exactly what I photograph. But I saw yours was first. So it seems I am copying your itinerary.
ja, nie, the time of the clock is just past 11 and on the exif file 11:03:57. Thus no problem.
Yes, its called envy and unfortunately the world is full of that, not only Africa.
not sure about these things, I would call it a siding. It did have rails off to the side at one point in history.
Yes Deontjie, that is the unfortunate truth. And its still standing there incomplete and no visitors.
Imagine how a station master of yesteryear, all dressed up in black and white, including a tie and hat, would have freaked to sea livestock wandering around on his proud an joy.
