Very nice shot.
It was pretty big too. You could walk through it.
I love it!
It's still a beautiful place, with beautiful people.
My boat looks so much better in the river; next summer it will be back where it belongs.
I looked at many photos from the time. There were certain landmarks...driveways, hills, landscapes. There were some written descriptions of the general location too. When I was there...looking around...I figured I wasn't more than a few feet off.
Larry, this is the second time someone has written me about this beautiful church. It seems to have been the center of the black community in Williamson. If you look though some of my photos from Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama, you'll see other AME churches. They are beautiful places with very deep roots. Thank you for writing!
The bridge came right out of a tunnel, then across the Tug Fork River. Spectacular bridge in the middle of nowhere!
West Virginia is full of surprises! Beautiful place and such nice people. Thanks for sharing!
What a nice message! It's a beautiful church. Still standing and in great condition.
